Maintenance of Plating Hangers

Maintenance methods for electroplating hangers mainly include the following:

  1. Wrapping method: use the width of 10~20mm polyvinyl chloride film tape to wrap the hangers, you can put a polyvinyl chloride plastic tube on the hook, leaving the contact area. This method will have a residual solution from the dressing layer.
  2. Impregnation method: after degreasing and etching treatment on the rack, the surface is dried and impregnated in the insulating material. Protective perchloroethylene paints with cyclohexanone or toluene as solvents can be used, or solvent-free thermosetting paints can be used. Solvent-free thermosetting paints have good adhesion, are easy to handle and have a long-lasting effect.
  3. Use of solvent-free thermosetting coatings: In combination with a plastic primer, these coatings can be adjusted for viscosity and form a smooth, elastic film with good resistance to knocks and storage stability.

The role of electroplating hangers in electroplating production: hangers in electroplating production mainly play the role of conductive, support and fixed parts, connected with the electrode, so that the current is uniformly transferred to the parts for electroplating. Do a good job of insulation is to extend the service life of the fixture key.

Maintenance cycle and maintenance method of electroplating hangers:

  • Weekly: clean the crane and hangers, use rags to wipe and wash and use sandpaper to polish.
  • Every 30 days: inspect the spreader to check for breakage; inspect and maintain the motor and reducer of the travelling crane.
  • Every 180 days: Carry out an in-depth cleaning and maintenance for the travelling crane and hangers, disassemble the hangers for cleaning.

Through the above methods, the service life of electroplating hangers can be effectively extended to ensure the smooth running of electroplating production.
